Formula 1 is a very competitive sport, as drivers must always give all their effort, or else risk being jobless for the next season. It requires precision, timing and most important of all, skill. If anyone lacks all 3, it is certainly impossible to join Formula 1.

Logan Sargeant, aged 23, started his career in Formula 1 in 2023. He drives for the Williams Formula 1 team, alongside his teammate Alexander (Alex) Albon, aged 28.

During the Australian Grand Prix, Alex Albon had his 28th birthday on March 23rd, coincidentally on the day of qualifying. During qualifying, Alex had drastically damaged his car so much so that it was unable to be fixed in time for the race the following day.

James Vowles, team principal of the Williams Formula 1 team, had to make an immediate decision on the situation, which was to ultimately give Logan Sargeant's car to Alex Albon, as a "birthday gift" to Alex. Many people commented on the situation, saying that it was unfair Logan's car was taken from him, while others said the opposite.

Logan was stripped of his opportunity to take part in the main race, as not only was it Alex's birthday, but unfortunately, the public felt that Alex would perform better than Logan in the main race, hence why they gave him the car. In all honesty, Logan should've raced in the main grand prix, as it was not his fault that Alex Albon crashed his car, and it was certainly unfair that his chance to gain points, or even win was taken from him, which wasn't fair on him.

In conclusion, many members of the public have mixed visions on the Williams F1 team after this, however majority of people say it wasn't fair that Logan's car was taken from him for something that wasn't even his fault.
