POLICE rushed to the scene of a crash in Maldon over the weekend after a car hit a tyre repair shop.
The driver crashed into the fire exit of Kwik Fit at Fullbridge in Maldon.
The incident reportedly took place at about 12.40am on Saturday, March 2.
One witness said passers-by stopped to offer help to the driver whilst waiting for police to arrive.
The witness said two officers arrived at the scene later.
Essex Police and the East of England Ambulance Service have been contacted for comment.
